Mr. Craig Cerveny wants to make an impression.
He is a Cross Categorical Kindergarten (CCK) teacher at Douglas Elementary. Mr. Cerveny has been teaching students with special needs since 2006 and became Douglas’s CCK teacher in 2012. He loves teaching and finds unique ways for children to learn, using art, dance and music. Mr. Cerveny graduated from East Carolina University, with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a minor in psychology. He developed strategies for coping with various social problems and anger management for his clients. These skills helped him transition into his role as a Special Education Teacher.
His expectations are high for all his students. Mr. Cerveny believes that a hard-working student is a successful student. He hopes to meet with you and your family. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's education, please contact him.
